Designed by Spanish designer Miguel Herranz, Orbit is beautifully simple, whose unfussy form is hand shaped by twisting a singular piece of wood veneer. The light from within is directed both upwards and downwards, while the light at its centre is diffused outwards through the wood veneer, highlighting the beauty of the wood veneer. In essence, just as the earth is in orbit around the sun, light is in orbit around the Orbit.
