2021 NYCxDESIGN Awards Finalists

We are so excited to share with you that two of our brands have made the final of the NYCxDesign awards.

This is one of the biggest awards in the world. Across all sections of design from architecture, graphics, branding, product design to name just some of the sectors. There is about 60 categories in total.

First up, the amazing and soon to be installed in our experientical showroom, LZF Dune.

LZF have traditionally worked with wood, and wood veneer but in the last number of years have brought more materials into the mix. The Dune is designed by Mayice Studio in Madrid. It uses one single piece of hand-blown borosilicate glass by Eduardo Garuti. This type of glass ensures very little heat expansion so perfect when working with lighting. Each lamp is unique, from the imperfections of the hand blown glass, to the detailed grain of the wood, this is a masterpiece in true craftsmanship!

Estluz Laverd, is our second up for an NYCX Design award.

This fitting takes the simple form of a wheel, and allows for lighting both up and/down in its intended space. From a very simple form to the more elaborate greenery option above. It comes in a few different size options also from single to double tier, in a black or a black and gold finish. Designed by Zachi Jacokovich.

Winners will be announced for all categories May 17th and 18th and will be live streamed on interiordesign.net and their Facebook page.
