Voila Voliere!

This week, I have broken away from technical products to bring you something very special! At Euroluce, Milan in April of this year, I had the privilege of being introduced to a beautiful chandelier from LZF Lamps by their director Sandor Tothill.

The Voliere was designed by Bodo Sperlein. Bodo took LZF’s signature material, wood veneer sourced from certified forests, to create this elegant nod to the 1920s art Deco style. Inspired by Birds of Paradise this chandelier is sure to become a modern classic. Each individual section mimics a feather, while also channeling alabaster stone. The subtle frame is gold metal and can be scaled up or down should the project call for it. LZF has also taken a stand with this product and gone back to the bulb – both for ease of use.

As with all LZF products, the Voliere bridges the gap between traditional and contemporary spaces and would be perfect, particularly in hospitality projects. To say this chandelier blew me away is an understatement. I cannot wait until this one comes to market.
